As chilly as it has been on shore this week, winds in the South Bay have swept up some insane barrels, giving wetsuit-wearing surfers a shot at the ride of a lifetime. While LA has plenty of beaches that are perfect for relaxing pretty much year-round (OK, not this week, but...), this type of action is rare—South Bay's waves are notoriously known for being closed out.
