When the Los Angeles Rams arrives in town this fall, you might be seeing them on more than just the sports channels. This morning, Variety reported the announcement of production on Hollywood & Football, making it the second Los Angeles Rams reality show to be headed to the small screen.

The series, commissioned for the E! channel, will consist of six hourlong episodes, timed to premiere around football season.

Jeff Olde, E!’s executive vice president of programming and development tells Variety, “We are excited to take viewers inside the exclusive lifestyles of these top athletes and their families as they navigate a new city, new friendships, new schools and the inevitable Hollywood gossip.”

That’s right. Inevitable Hollywood gossip.

The show will primarily focus on a few specific players—Kenny Britt, Rodger Saffold, Lance Kendricks, Chase Reynolds, Bradley Marquez and Cory Harkey—along with their partners and children, showing the athletes on the field and in their private lives.

HBO is also at work on a Rams production that will premiere on Aug 9. Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Los Angeles Rams is a co-production with NFL Films and takes a more traditional sports documentary approach than Hollywood & Football. This year’s edition of the annual five-episode miniseries will be devoted to the team’s draft process and relocation from St. Louis to Los Angeles. Watch a trailer for the series below.
