Rarely is there a quartet of sample sales in LA that we're so giddy about, we want to be first in line...at all four. Just look at these must-shop mega sales, starting on Wednesday and running through Sunday, and you'll be just as excited as we are. Be still, our credit cards! As always, come prepared, show up early for the good stuff and usually a choice in sizes, and dress for the mad dash for the discounts. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a small cross-body bag or no bag at all (so that you don't have to waste time checking it in at some of these sales), and wearing loose-fitting clothing so that you can try on clothes in packed fitting rooms like a pro. It's never too early to start shopping for holiday gifts, or a new designer-filled wardrobe, at half (or even less, gasp!) the retail prices.

- What to buy: Contemporary dresses, jumpsuits, skirts and leather goods (if you get there early enough), and other closet staples to dress up or down.
