Our sugar coma may have subsided, but we're still thinking about all the sweet, sweet treats we devoured at yesterday's Treat Yo' Self tasting event. Cake, ice cream, cotton candy, hot chocolate and more turned LA River Studios into a real-life Candyland, along with a braid bar from Hairroin Salon and refreshing beer from Tsingtao. Outside the studio, Best Friends Animal Society sweetened the deal with a mobile adoption center—some animals found a home that very same day! It was a delicious afternoon thanks to our incredible vendors—Crème Caramel LA, Wanderlust Creamery, Sugar Spin, The Gadarene Swine, Pitchoun Bakery, Cake Monkey Bakery, Demitasse Café and Caffe Luxxe—and all of you, our phenomenal readers.

If you weren't able to make it, check out our photos from the event below—and stay tuned for our next tasting party!
