Capuçon Plays Korngold

Romance is in the air. Korngold used themes from his classic Hollywood film scores of the late 1930s in his Violin Concerto, which he dedicated to Alma Mahler, the widow of his childhood mentor. Mahler wrote the Adagietto of his Fifth Symphony for Alma just after their marriage. Hear Capucon do it justice on the violin.
