Back when you could still enter most Hollywood clubs for $5 and score any number of pharmaceuticals for not much more, David Judaken brought romance and glamor back to the area at the late, great Garden of Eden. Mood, his second-generation club, offers a Balinese-themed interior, a steady clientele of starlets and a mainstream soundtrack. It's not the latest or greatest A-list venue, but it still has verve, exclusivity and even a little edge in the form of BoJesse Christopher's electronic-flavored Hot Lava nights on Saturdays.
