While it's no longer the belle of the celebrity ball, the Cuban-flavored Nacional has at least aged gracefully. One of the first paparazzi-encamped venues along Hollywood Boulevard, the two-level venue still gleams, particularly when the often imported DJs of Monday Social (Sander Kleinenberg, MANDY et al) are rocking the decks. A rare 'new Hollywood' club that feels far more like the real LA than the tabloid version on display at the clubs down the street.
