Time Out says

There’s no place in L.A. quite like Largo, a cozy theater where you can see stand-ups like Patton Oswalt, Tig Notaro, Judd Apatow and Jenny Slate on a regular basis, catch improv antics from Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz, and see Jon Brion’s long-running monthly musical residency.

Like all local entertainment venues right now, though, Largo is temporarily shuttered and could use your help. Rather than seeking donations, the La Cienega venue is already planning a show for its eventual return to business as usual. Aiming for June 20 (or as soon as possible if it needs to be later), the Largo Summer Celebration Staff Benefit Show will bring together a to-be-announced lineup of its all-star headliners.

That may seem like a long way off, but buying your $50 ticket now will help keep the venue afloat: Outside of the $1.50 fee they have to pay for credit processing, every dollar will directly support the theater and its staff (and any surplus funds will be donated to local charities).

“We have continued to pay our staff since the theatre was closed in early March, and we commit to doing so until we get back on our feet” the theater said in an email. “We could use some help because the bills haven’t stopped coming in either!”
