Traffic on the 405 during the first rain of the season is awful. Not having power for days after a devastating hurricane tears your city apart? Way worse. Go show some support for those on the East Coast this Saturday at the Laugh Factory, which is holding a special benefit with 100% of ticket sales being donated to the Red Cross to help Hurricane Sandy victims. Dane Cook headlines the event, which also includes comedians Sunda Croonquist, James Harris, Erik Griffin, Dom Irrera, Tom Dreesen and Jeremy Hotz. The minimum donation to get in is just $25, and the comedy club will also be collecting supplies such as blankets, canned food and heaters, which can be dropped off at any time throughout the day.
