Los Angeles Ballet closes its 20th season with four performances of Giselle at the Ahmanson Theatre, marking the local company’s debut at the Music Center. This Romantic-era masterpiece, first performed in Paris in 1841, draws on supernatural themes and Eastern European folklore with its tale of a woman who dies of a broken heart, then returns as a spirit.
