LA Transgender Film Festival

This three-day festival, held at three different LA venues, focuses on films by and for the trans and genderqueer community. The series kicks off on Friday, November 2, at Echo Park Film Center with a screening of the erotic feature Mommy is Coming, set in Berlin; on Saturday, check out the surreal short films, plus an indie filmmaking workshop; on Sunday, don't miss the panel discussion about how to shape the media's perspective of trans issues, with trans filmmaker Jules Rosskam, director of the pseudo-documentary Against a Trans Narrative, which will also be featured on Sunday.
