Beetlejuice screening

Netflix is overrated—head over to Santa Monica’s Vidiots for a true movie experience. This hidden gem of a video store will be hosting a free screening (though donations are welcome) of Tim Burton’s 1988 classic Beetlejuice. It might not be Halloween yet, but it’s definitely time for some ghosts, humor and witch doctors. If you need an intro lesson on how to conduct a séance or phantom-proof your house, this is the movie for you. If you just want a little dark comedy to feed your eerie personality, that works too. Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder star in this spooky, humorous flick; their performances are not to be missed. Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse!
