Beyond the Walls screening

Celebrate the end of DOMA and head to the Aero to watch this Belgian film about love and heartbreak. Paulo (Matila Malliarakis), a young pianist living unhappily with his girlfriend, meets Albanian bass player, Ilir (Guillaume Gouix) and falls head-over-heels. After moving in together, Paulo confesses his undying love for Ilir, who leaves for a concert and unexpectedly never returns. Selected for the International Critics' Week at last year's Cannes Film Festival, the film will be shown in French and Albanian with English subtitles. Following the screening, discuss the dramatic love story over Belgian brews at the theatre's beer reception.
