Chef screening with Roy Choi

Presented by Zócalo and KCRW as a part of their “My Favorite Movie” film series, the Million Dollar Theater downtown presents a screening of the now-playing romantic comedy "Chef," which stars Jon Favreau as the head chef of a Cuban sandwich food truck. The film was co-produced by Time Out LA Food & Drink award-winning chef, restaurateur, author and Kogi Korean BBQ mastermind, Roy Choi. After the screening, Roy Choi (who also served as a technical consultant on "Chef") will sit down with KCRW’s Evan Kleiman to discuss the film—his favorite scenes, which parts hit a little too close to home and why he chose this project for his Hollywood debut. Grand Central Market, located right next door, will remain open until the event starts at 7pm for pre-screening dinner and snacks.
