This festival will screen more than 30 new feature, documentary and short films from Greece and Greek filmmakers around the world, dealing with topics from the Greek diaspora to economic turmoil. The best films will go home with Orpheus Awards at a red-carpet gala on Sunday; director Alexander Payne is an honorary recipient this year. Screenings will take place at both the Writers Guild Theater and the Real D Screening Room in Beverly Hills (100 N Crescent Dr). Check the website for a detailed film schedule.
