Silent Comedy Revue

American Cinematheque will take a break from its ongoing D.W. Griffith retrospective to bring back its annual night of silent comedy gems. Get your pre-talkie fix with these shorts, starring greats from Harry Langdon to Gloria Swanson. See episodes from 1919's The Woman in Grey, and the rare "Mickey's Movies," starring a fresh-faced Mickey Rooney circa 1926. Cliff Retallick will set the scene with live piano accompaniment. All the works will be presented on 8mm film by Retro Format Films.
