Newly christened It Girl Shailene Woodley stars in this latest work from acclaimed independent filmmaker Gregg Araki. The film, set in 1988, seamlessly weaves genres together, but is ultimately a stirring coming-of-age mystery. Eva Green steals the show, playing a parent who's gone over the edge and disappears. The movie will play for a week at the Nuart. You'll have two chances to see Sundance vet director Araki at the theater on Oct. 24: at a Q&A after the 7:30pm screening, or afterward, when he introduces the 9:45pm showing.
