Time Out says

If your Valentine's Day plans are missing that certain je ne sais quoi, then it might be time for something new this year—maybe dinner at an aphrodisiac pop-up restaurant? Chef and aphrodisiac expert Jeff Torin is taking over Lucy's 51 in Toluca Lake for one night only, offering a seventeen-course tasting menu packed with dishes designed to get you in the mood. The vanilla roasted golden beets with almonds, chevre, and micro cilantro—all tossed in a pickled shallot vinaigrette—are meant to stimulate your senses, while the spicy chilies in the fig salsa tostone are suppose to release capsaicin, increasing nerve ending sensitivity (that's a good thing, right?). Get a $40 discount when you book before January 29.
