We love pop-ups—especially when good food is involved. Every Wednesday through Saturday until February 15, Barbershop Ristorante is taking over The Farmer's Kitchen for a night of incredible food and culinary talent. Chef Walter el Nagar (of Michelin-starred La Botte fame) presents a 9-course, prix-fixe menu (Bonus: BYOB with no corkage fee) that includes cutting-edge presentation and innovative dishes: annin tofu with green tomato marmalade, sunchokes with sunflower seeds and ricotta cheese, red beet pasta, and steamed skate wing are just a few highlights from the seasonal menu. And because there's no better way than to go out with a bang, the final week of service will include a few variations: On February 12 and 13, el Nagar will partner with The Amalur Project for a 10-course menu ($125 per person); on February 14, a 12-course, aphrodisiac-themed Valentine's Dinner will be available ($135 per person).
