Central Coast Oyster & Music Festival

Feel like making a trip outside of the city this weekend? The Central Coast Oyster & Music Festival is returning to Avila beach for its third year of shucking. As the largest oyster festival on the West Coast, there will be plenty of fresh shells to slurp from, including over 30 local food and retail vendors and a "Best Oyster of the Central Coast" competition. Take a break in the Aphrodisiac Lounge (bow-chica-wow-wow), listen to an eclectic line-up of musicians (including 9 Theory, Ferocious Few and The Honey Trees) or try your hand in the shucking contest to be crowned as the Best Mother Shucker in all the land.
