A pint on a weeknight is easy to come by, but brewing your own beer? That’s an experience Wirsthaus is offering come February 20. The traditional German restaurant and pub will be hosting their inaugural Home Beer Brewing Class at its premises, where avid home-brewers David Mazzonetto and Efren Padilla will be teaching the basics such as sanitation, heat control, tips for the fermentation process, and the necessary equipment for brewing. Note to local home-brewers: feel free to bring your own concoctions to share with the rest of the class. A $25 ticket will grant you entry, free beer samples, plenty of Bavarian pretzels, and family-style sausage platters. Reservations are required and the event is limited to 50 people, so sign up early if you love beer and are keen to learn more.
