What do the Amalfi Coast, a Michelin-starred chef, and Santa Monica have in common? They'll all be converging for one week only at Shutters on the Beach, Santa Monica's boutique hotel by the ocean. Chef Matteo Temperini, the Michelin-starred chef at Le Sirenuse on the Amalfi Coast, will be partnering with Shutters' Chef Sven Mede at One Pico to create an exclusive, à la carte menu showcasing both culinary talents. Chef Temperini will recreate some of his famous coastal dishes, including Gamberoni rossi Siciliani (roasted Imperial prawns) and Lombata di Vitello (veal cutlet with capers, baby onions, and anchovies juice); Chef Mede will be offering roasted cauliflower, Grilled Georges Bank Swordfish, and Kurobuta Pork Chop, among others. Amalfi spirits will also be included—and we all know there's no better way to feel like you're on vacation than sipping Negroni cocktails.
