Forget the old culinary hacks whose dinner events involve only one sense—eating for the taste alone is so passé. In a bout of synesthetic unconvention, Castle Gourmet Dining's Chef Anne Lee will host a four-course dinner at food/art collective Thank You For Coming (3416 Glendale Blvd), where each dish will not only pair with a select wine, but also with a complementary fragrance curated by LA's Institute for Art and Olfaction. We know, there's a lot to take in here—yes, there exists an entire organization dedicated to smelling stuff, and yes, they're bottling delicately crafted scents for "Stop and Smell Your Dinner" guests to sniff with each course in order to enhance the corresponding flavors. For those who like to play with their food on a semi-socially acceptable basis, this event is a must-go. Seating is limited, so snag your tickets online now.
