Calling all foodies! July 13th is the Food GPS Rib Festival at Chinatown's historic Central Plaza—no GPS required. Twelve of LA's most prominent chefs have come together to create special rib dishes along with side specials, desserts and, of course, drinks (craft beer and cocktails, made by Jason Bran and Damian Windsor; and craft sodas from Los Angeles Ale Works). If you're not drooling yet, then start thinking about your favorite dishes from each restaurant while we name drop: Chad Colby (Chi Spacca), Vartan Abgaryan (Cliff's Edge), Eduardo Ruiz (Corazon Y Miel/Picnik), Dave Danhi (The Grilled Cheese Truck), Matt Poley (Heirloom LA), Jason Neroni (Superba Snack Bar), Freddy Vargas (Scarpetta) and more. A portion of proceeds go to The Pablove Foundation, a charity for pediatric cancer research, treatment and education.
