The first anniversary is the “paper” anniversary, the 25th is silver, 50th is golden and 41st is food? Valentino is toasting to another 40 years with a Bianco Pregiato 5-course tasting menu featuring white truffles paired with Beni di Batasiolo wines of Piiemonte, Italy. All guests will receive a complementary flute of champagne as well as a custom glass plate by Thalass decorative plate makers from Sicily for each table. But it gets better. Fiorenzo Gogliani himself, the managing director of Beni di Batasiolo Vineyard, will ship 1 kilogram of hand-picked white truffles from Alba, picked the day before to be served for this special dinner. Talk about farm to table.
