Culver Hotel

Culver City's historic Culver Hotel was once the part-time residence to Old Hollywood from Clark Gable and Joan Crawford to Greta Garbo and Buster Keaton. Charlie Chaplin supposedly sold the hotel to John Wayne for a buck, while tales of apparitions surround the Neo-Renaissance–designed hotel. Locals and tourists alike can drop in for a nightcap at the hotel's lobby bar, while overnight guests can lay their heads at one of the 46 newly renovated rooms. The hotel's restaurant features daily brunch, afternoon tea, happy hour and live music.

The Culver Hotel is a must-see in LA! It is Wizard of Oz themed (the real munchkins stayed here while filming of the movie) and has really cute rooms/live band/drinks. I especially loved the outdoor garden area for drinks and food.

Glamorous and steeped in history, The Culver Hotel feels like it could have been plucked from any charming European city. Even if you aren't a hotel guest, you can still enjoy a beautiful traditional English tea, OR go for a night on the town, when the lobby turns into a jazzy supper club every night of the week. The rooms themselves were fashioned after a Parisian style apartment, and if you really want to splurge, go for the suite--with a clawfoot tub in the bathroom.

The Culver Hotel is beautiful and historic! They have a great restaurant and lounge that I would recommend checking out. On the weekends they also have live music so its a great date spot! Its centrally located in downtown Culver City so if you are out of town, this is a good option.
