Close to the Sunset Strip and yet enviably, surprisingly serene, the Secret Garden is one of LA's relatively few B&Bs. The operation changed hands a couple of years ago, but it remains a charming little place. The main house holds five individually decorated rooms in a lovely garden setting; in addition, there's the very private cottage guest house, which features a large tub with body-pulsing water jets. Mornings begin with a full organic breakfast.
