Built in 1947, the Native Hotel (formerly the Malibu Riviera) recently underwent a major renovation, upgrading the rooms and interiors with a fresh modern-meets-coastal decor. While the boutique-style hotel is located just off busy Pacific Coast Highway and doesn't pack the same glitz and glam as other Malibu hotels, its no-frills vibe, affordable prices and prime location make it a fine retreat. Stay in one of thirteen upgraded rooms, complete with free Wi-Fi and outdoor patios. Note: TVs and AC are not availble so we recommend staying in the cooler months.
