The Cinemark in Playa Vista is really nice since it’s brand new, but definitely not my go-to movie theatre. Their selection of movies is usually pretty limited (being that it’s a very young family area, so lots of kid and family-friendly movies).

Definitely reserve your seats early otherwise you might get stuck sitting really close to the screen. A lot of the theatres I’ve been in here are wider than they are deep, so if you’re closer to the front, that means you are VERY CLOSE to the screen to the point where it’s not that enjoyable.

The parking structure does allow for parking validation for the theatres (I think up to 4 hours) so that’s nice. Hot dogs are also cheaper after 10 pm.
