For one of the best deals in town, catch the $5 showings of new film releases on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and $7 bargain matinees, daily before 6pm. Pick up a frequent-visitor card: for every seven movies, the eighth one’s free. Just don’t expect an art-house audience—especially in the G-rated flicks, the kids are known to get a bit rowdy.

If you have a couple hours to kill there's no better place to spend them than at a budget movie theatre. Highland Theaters doesn't have your fancy accoutrements like assigned seating, gourmet nachos, or surround sound—but that doesn't matter, because it's cheap!
