Ojai Playhouse

This historic theater situated in the midst of Ojai’s main stretch has been standing since 1914. After a decade-long closure, it recently reopened in November 2024 after a restoration that outfitted it with state-of-the-art amenities. The 200-seat single-screen cinema now hosts screenings of both first-run arthouse films and timeless classics, as well as live events including community gatherings and film festivals frequented by both locals and visitors.
