Dazed Day at Vidiots

All right, all right, all right. Revisit McConaughey’s big-screen debut as Vidiots hosts an entire day dedicated to director Richard Linklater’s cult classic Dazed and Confused for the fourth year running. The 1993 film will screen at 3:45pm and 7pm, while the theater’s microcinema will transform into the Emporium pool hall with vintage pinball on freeplay, courtesy of neighbor Walt’s Bar. Also on offer: munchies, wine and beers on tap, vinyl sets from KCRW DJs, 16mm psychedelic celluloid mini-shows between screenings, giveaways and good vibes. The day will conclude with a late-night screening of the Who’s pinball rock opera, Tommy, at 9:45pm.
