PROOF: Proof of Concept Film Festival

Beloved local film institution American Cinematheque hosts this weekend-long festival—now in its third year—dedicated to proof-of-concept short films from up-and-coming directors. Who knows? You might get a glimpse of the next Whiplash, Napoleon Dynamite or Reservoir Dogs—all of which started out as buzzworthy shorts. Programming at the Culver Theater is organized into blocks with themes including “Age of Change,” “Homecoming” and “Sunday Scaries.”
