Museum of African American Art

Though it might seem strange for an art museum to be operating out of a Macy's store, the cultural institution has done an admiral job building up a permanent collection of paintings, masks, carvings and ceremonial objects from Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and the South Pacific since its founding in 1976.
