Neon signs, especiallly historical ones, rarely disappoint. I love that Glendale has its own neon museum now. Although the space is quite small, they do some interesting classes/workshops and events. You might recognize some of the business signs if you grew up in L.A. area. The gift shop also packs a very well curated sampling of items to buy.

Fantastic selection of Neon Art, despite the fact that the museum and collection are a little small (the building looks like two's not).  Beautiful and educational, the space would benefit from...more space with more to peruse (you'll probably spend about 30 minutes inside, maybe 45), as well as better labeling. Currently, information about each piece is listed in a few books scattered in the gallery, meaning you can't look at a piece and learn about it at the same time.  Lovely spot to visit, especially if you're waiting for your table at Din Tai Fung across the street.
