Deserted at the Palms

Time Out says

Those who prefer their desert music fests rough, tumble and relatively cheap can pencil in this day-long blowout at the dusty saloon between Palm Springs and Laughlin, known as The Palms (83131 Amboy Rd). Thirty bucks will earn you access to the best bands you'll find that deep in the desert, including Thee Oh Sees, Cate Le Bon, Prince Rama, White Fence, Nite Jewel and more. In between sets, take a moment to admire the one-of-a-kind venue, which serves up PBR on tap, a colorful crowd of cowboys and oldschool cantina atmosphere. Parking and camping are both free. The event is presented by Fever, L.A. Record and Dublab.
