Murder ballads are always wickedly fun, and especially around Halloween. The Zebulon in Frogtown is the home of this year’s edition of this macabre annual show—which is free this time around. See a lineup of local singer-songwriters—including Alice Bag, Bart Davenport, Bloody Death Skull, Bruce Moreland, CrowJane, Darla Hawn, Emily Rose, Harry Katz & the Pistachios, Rah Rah Rabbit, Sugarmill Slim, Taleen Kali, Talk2Strangers and more—to entertain us with their favorite tunes about wicked deeds, crimes of passion, ghosts and nightmares. The set list will span both centuries-old ballads and contemporary tunes, as well as originals by the bands.
