Pacific Festival: The Dunes

Two of our favorite things in Southern California are music and the beach, rendering the picturesque waterside Pacific Festival a summer must-go. This August 16, cruise down to the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina (1131 Back Bay Dr) for an all-day music event, where shoes are prohibited and libations flow aplenty. Holy Ghost!, Poolside, Miami Horror, Bag Raiders and Moon Boots are just a few of the live acts and DJs slated to perform at this year's fest. Go all out, and upgrade to a VIP pass, gaining you access to a private main stage viewing area, exclusive booz and other premium surprises. The festival may end at 9pm, but the partying certainly doesn't—ride that post-fest adrenaline right over to The Observatory for the official after-party, hosted by Pacific Festival and A Club Called Rhonda.
