This buzzworthy Seattle band released its debut full-length album, Can't Talk Medicine, this past March and has already been compared to acts from the Alabama Shakes to Sam Cooke. Plus, NPR recently named its track "Lady Luck" (featuring Sharon Van Etten) as one of Public Radio's Songs of 2013. We like their name; they call themselves Pickwick after a record label where Lou Reed worked as a songwriter in the '60s. Check them out at this LA date at the Troubadour.
