Guatemalan singer Ricardo Arjona is beyond popular in Latin America, partly for his syrupy, seductive vocals (he's quite the heartthrob in some circles) and partly for his rebellious sociopolitical themes. He recently released his super lush and orchestral 13th studio album, Independiente, on his own record label.
