The sunglass-donning, peace-sign-flashin’ former Beatle returns to L.A. with his All Starr tour, in which a bunch of veteran rockers take turns singing their hits and jamming out in unison as one star-studded band. This time around, Ringo Starr is joined by Colin Hay, Steve Lukather, Gregg Rolie and Graham Gouldman.

For an evening of just pure fun, nothing compares to this group of rockers. As the man said, "there's something for everyone." I bought tickets for my husband and I through AXS; we didn't have specific seats at the time of purchase, but the seats were near the rail on the left terrace-great location for the remarkably modest price I paid! Given the age of the performers, and the crowd, anyone who wasn't old enough to have listened to these artists when the songs first came out missed the whole joie de vivre of the audience singing along. These are quintessential musical pros who knew how to deliver crowd pleasers. My personal hero of the night was Warren Ham: is there any instrument this man cannot play to perfection? Todd Rundgren may not have been in best voice, but his infectious enthusiasm and antics more than made up for the lack. Kudos to all the members of 2016s tour. Will I go see the next incarnation of Ringo's All Starr Band? Unquestionably.
