The Skirball does its part to bring culture to the masses each summer with its free community concerts series—now in its 18th season—featuring world music from everywhere from Africa to the Americas. Tonight's headliner is five-time Grammy winner accordionist Flaco Jiménez, who will stop by the Skirball as part of his 75th-birthday tour. He's collaborated with everyone from Carlos Santana to Ry Cooder to the Rolling Stones in the past. He'll be joined by fellow acclaimed Tex-Mex conjunto musicians Max Baca & Los Texmaniacs to celebrate their new album together, Flaco & Max: Legends & Legacies. Make a night of it by showing up early to check out the museum's galleries and dine al fresco in the picturesque courtyard.
