Time Out says

Father John Misty is teaming up with Goldenvoice for a concert to benefit those affected by the devastating Southern California wildfires. Appropriately dubbed the California Wildfires Benefit Concert, net proceeds for the show at the Theatre at Ace Hotel will go to the Southern California Disaster Relief Fund, which provides long-term support to low-income residents impacted by the fires.

Misty himself joins an incredible lineup of mostly local favorites on December 18 that includes—deep breath—HAIM, Jeff Bhasker, Jonathan Wilson, Lucius, Mac DeMarco, Nate Ruess, Rivers Cuomo, Rostam, Tim Heidecker, Weyes Blood and more.

Tickets, which cost $59.50 to $199.50, go on sale this Friday, December 7 at 10am. In addition, CharityBuzz is auctioning off two front row tickets, as well as a signed show poster and a one-night stay at the Ace Hotel.

If you can’t attend but still want to donate to the cause, the concert’s organizers suggest texting ACEBENEFIT to 41444 or giving to United Way on behalf of ACEBENEFIT.
