The Polyphonic Spree

Three cheers—the Spree is back. You must know what to expect from them by now: An alphabet's worth of members led by Tim DeLaughter; flowing choir robes; buoyant, Jesus-is-my-homeboy (but they're officially secular, really!) symphonic psych-pop ditties; pure divine chaos onstage. Sonically, the collective sounds positively Partridge-esque in its sunny energy. The crew is out playing behind its newest album, Yes, It's True. We, too, are curious to see how they fit in The Bootleg.
