Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra launches the sixth season of its innovative Westside Connections chamber music series with a look at the impact Los Angeles has had on arts and culture (where to start?). Arnold Steinhardt, acclaimed first violin of the famed Guarneri Quartet, returns to Los Angeles, the city where he dubeted with the LA Philharmonic at the ripe, old age of 14. He joins the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra for Korngold's "Marietta's Lied zur Laute" from Die tote Stadt, kicking off Westside Connections' first performance at its new location in the Ann and Jerry Moss Theater at New Roads School in Santa Monica.
