We've been doing this for years, and trust us when we say, though this Nashville act is playing a modest gig at the El Rey this summer, it will own big fests at some point in the near future. Primarily the project of Keegan DeWitt, an indie film scorer, Wild Cub is one of those new breeds that comes out of the box with the pop polish of The Killers. Youth, their debut album, was recorded in multi-instrumentalist and cofounder Jeremy Bullock's home, but goes big for a blend of U2 grandeur, Bruce-like Americana and new-wave.
