1. Help Best Friends Animal Society take care of 2,900 kittens over the course of the year with a bit of support during their Kitten Shower. From 1 to 3pm, the shelter’s Mission Hills adoption center is hosting a tour of its kitten nursery as well as a fostering and volunteering workshop.
2. Make for the beach for some food as 70 Smorgasburg favorites and newcomers set up at Smorgasburg’s Pop-Up on the Santa Monica Pier from 11am to 5pm.
3. Head to the Hollywood Palladium for a set from Jawbreaker. The concert from the seminal ‘90s punk band starts at 7pm. Tickets cost $49.50.
