Los Angeles is about to get a jolt of pure, fizzy holiday energy: the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan is rolling into town from December 3 to 7, marking its 28th year of glowing trucks, Santa photo ops and unabashed seasonal cheer. For Angelenos who consider the caravan’s arrival as reliable as the first sighting of a peppermint latte, the tour is making eight stops across L.A. County—from Rosemead to Rancho Palos Verdes to a day-long finale at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
The experience is built around small-but-charming moments: snapping a postcard-worthy photo with Santa on his brand-new throne; picking up a complimentary holiday bag and tag from the Coca-Cola Gifting Box; grabbing a warm drink at the Costa Coffee cart, which pours limited-edition holiday cups tailor-made for your camera roll.
There’s also a philanthropic twist woven into the tour this year. Coca-Cola is partnering with No Kid Hungry, inviting guests to give back through interactive donation stations that highlight exactly how many meals each contribution can fund. Scan a QR code, make a donation and you’ll get a thank-you email packed with celebrity chef recipes—a reward for being both generous and hungry.
As for the route, the caravan kicks off on December 3 in Rosemead at a Panda Express, where it will park from midday into the afternoon. On December 4, it heads to Inglewood for back-to-back appearances at El Super and Smart & Final. Torrance and Rancho Palos Verdes take over on December 5, with a daytime stop at Walmart before the trucks wind their way to Terranea Resort for an evening session that promises some of the prettiest coastal backdrops of the tour. Long Beach and Buena Park are up next on December 6, with Ralphs hosting the midday window before Albertsons gets the after-dark glow. And on December 7, the caravan settles in for a full seven-hour run inside Six Flags Magic Mountain, because nothing says “holiday magic” like Santa posing in front of roller coasters.
