Last night, the halls of Grand Central Market filled up with chefs, bartenders and food fanatics to help us celebrate the annual Time Out Los Angeles Food & Drink Awards. We chowed down on focaccia from Olio GCM, meatballs from Belcampo and barbecue from Horse Thief, munched on cookies from Valerie and scooped up ube custard from Crème Caramel LA, and couldn't stop talking about that Thai pork slider on a sticky rice bun from Sticky Rice. Then it was on to the awards, where République took home top honors as Best New Restaurant and Roy Choi walked away with the award for Chef of the Year.
