Time Out says

Zach Pollack temporarily closed his Silver Lake stalwart when coronavirus started sweeping L.A., but on Tuesday, March 31, he's bringing the restaurant back for one night only—and for a great cause.

Alimento's delicate handmade pastas and other signature dishes are making a comeback with a special takeout menu, and its proceeds entirely benefit the staffs of Alimento and its Echo Park sibling spot, Cosa Buona.

A number of L.A. restaurants and bars have launched fundraisers for their teams as they've cut hours and even employees, including Alimento and Cosa Buona. You can already donate to Pollack's teams online, but on Tuesday you can support them by enjoying a delicious dinner.

The menu includes some of Alimento's classics—including the crostone, the tortellini, the chopped salad and the decadent chicken Milanese sandwich—all priced at $12, and there'll even be bottles of wine available for sale. Simply call 323-928-2888 to place your order, then pick it up on Tuesday between 4 and 7pm. Your stomach and the Alimento and Cosa Buona teams will thank you.
